Cancer Cure for
Women
Donation of Mobile Mammography Unit to the Uganda Cancer Institute (UCI) of Mulago Hospital to support diagnosis and early detection of cancers that affect women.
Eye Care Camps
In the 26 Eye Camps conducted in Uganda, 11,453 patients were screened. After medical check-ups and consultation, 4192 spectacles were distributed and 4545 people were provided medical treatments.
Cataract Surgeries
As part of Samta Foundation’s Eye Care initiatives, 530 cataract surgeries and 3 cornea transplants were performed. These were organised in conjunction with Ministry of health and the Mulago Referral Hospital in Uganda.
